We are looking for a motivated and organised Property Management Assistant to support our busy Property Management Department.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in getting things right, communicates well and wants to build a long-term career in property management.

THE ROLE
Working closely with our Senior Property Manager, you will help keep the department running smoothly across administration, inspections, maintenance, leasing support and day-to-day portfolio tasks.

Your duties may include:
• Assisting with tenant, landlord and trades communication
• Following up maintenance, trades and invoices
• Scheduling inspections and sending routine notices
• Conducting routine, ingoing and outgoing inspections
• Assisting with leasing, open homes, applications and tenant sign-ups
• Lease renewal and rent increase administration
• Water usage calculations and arrears reminders
• Compliance tracking, including smoke alarms, pool compliance and insurance certificates
• Property visits, key handovers and general field work
• Supporting new tenant, vacate and re-let workflows
• Assisting with commercial property administration where required
• Overflow support with phones, front counter and urgent maintenance

You will be supported by experienced senior staff who handle the higher-level landlord relationships, leasing decisions, tribunal matters, complex maintenance and legal responsibilities.

• Organised, reliable and proactive

• Confident dealing with people
• Professional in presentation and attitude
• Able to manage competing priorities
• Willing to learn and follow systems
• Experienced in administration or customer service
Previous real estate experience is preferred, but not essential for the right person.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
• Current driver’s licence
• Reliable vehicle
• Real Estate Certificate of Registration / Assistant Agent Certificate, or willingness to obtain one
