Position description

We seek an enthusiastic Courier to join our Port Macquarie team.  You will be an essential team member, and your responsibilities will include the following:

  • Transportation and delivery of pathology specimens, samples and equipment from collection centres to laboratories across the North Coast.

  • Ensure the safe and timely transport of specimens whilst abiding by strict WH & S requirements

  • Provide excellent customer service.

  • Report vehicle maintenance needs to the courier manager

Ideal candidate

We are looking for the following:

  • Open to working hours Monday to Sunday.

  • Current unencumbered Class C NSW driver’s license with exemplary driving record. (Recent RTA infringement record print out required)

  • Highly knowledgeable of the North Coast Area

  • Must be able to walk long distances and lift, carry and move items of up to 10 kgs.

  • Good communication skills and effective interpersonal skills

  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure

  • Safe driving skills.
