Are you an early-career physiotherapist — around 1 to 5 years in — ready to build a strong caseload and a life somewhere worth staying?

We're Hastings Physio and Health, one of the Mid-North Coast's most established multi-site practices — and we're growing. We have two early-career physiotherapist positions based primarily at our Lake Innes clinic in Port Macquarie, with a dedicated rehab gym, private treatment rooms, strong admin support, and a team of physios, exercise physiologists and massage therapists who genuinely back each other.

Here's what makes it different.

Structured mentoring, not vague "support."

You'll join our 18-month Physiotherapy Mentoring Program: 60 minutes of structured mentoring every week, plus a 30-minute one-on-one with a senior physiotherapist, plus monthly team in-services.

This is real development time scheduled into your week — surrounded by clinicians with 140+ years of combined private-practice experience. Early in your career, that's the difference between treading water and getting genuinely good, fast.

"With internal training and mentoring from the senior physios, I've grown more in just over a year than I could have hoped for. If you're looking for somewhere that will genuinely back you, this is it." — Taylah, Physiotherapist, 1.5 years at HPH

More time treating, less time on admin.

Admin is one of the quiet killers of this job. You'll never process a patient payment — that's handled at the front desk — and our admin team supports communication with doctors, insurers and referrers. You focus on patients, not inboxes.

A broad, interesting caseload.

You'll work across MSK and rehabilitation, with a hands on approach and gym-based rehab and support from exercise physiology and massage. There's room to grow into your interests over time — sports, persistent pain, specific injuries, or a leadership path.

Pay with real upside — and a life outside work.

Salary is $75,000–$95,000 base, depending on experience, plus performance commission, so your income can grow as your caseload does.

We're Monday to Friday with no weekends, and we actively encourage four-day weeks.

A career path you can actually see.

The pathway is clear: early-career physio → senior physio → clinical leader.

We're a growing business and we build leaders from within rather than hiring over the top of them. We'll support you to build a strong caseload, but we'll also expect you to take ownership of your growth, your rebooking habits, and your patient outcomes.

Moving to the Mid-North Coast?

We offer a relocation contribution of up to $5,000.

Port Macquarie isn't a compromise — it's the upgrade. Beaches, hinterland, short commutes, a coastal lifestyle, and a community that knows your name. If you've done your time in a metro clinic, or you've got roots here and want to come home, this is the move.

You'll suit this role if you:

  • Have around 1–5 years' experience as a physiotherapist

  • Are a strong new graduate who wants proper mentoring

  • Hold current AHPRA registration and the right to work in Australia

  • Are coachable, curious, and want to keep improving

  • Want to build something long-term, not just pass through

  • Care about patient outcomes, team culture, and doing the work properly
