ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a self-motivated and experienced Registered Surveyor to join our expanding team. You will take a leadership role across mixed land development projects, working with a talented professional team on a wide variety of local and regional work.

This role suits a confident professional with a strong foundation in cadastral surveying and civil design, a good understanding of the NSW planning system, and the drive to lead both projects and people.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

•    Leading a multi-disciplined team to deliver land development projects through planning, design, construction and plan registration phases

•    Maintaining and growing relationships with clients, sub-consultants, contractors, government agencies and other project stakeholders as required

•    Identifying planning pathways for development proposals and coordinating relevant approvals

•    Undertaking and/or overseeing cadastral, topographic and engineering surveys as well as the preparation and lodgement of deposited plans and associated documents for registration with LRS

•    Providing input into civil design, including road, drainage and servicing layouts

•    Managing project programmes, budgets and resourcing across concurrent projects

•    Mentoring and supervising technical staff and candidate surveyors

•    Engaging with the surveying profession and land development industry generally through representative organisations and networking opportunities

ABOUT YOU

•    Demonstrated experience in land surveying, with exposure to town planning, civil design and project management

•    Currently a Registered Surveyor in NSW

•    Strong communication skills — comfortable engaging with clients and project stakeholders

•    Ability to lead and develop a team in a collaborative environment

•    Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
